We couldn't be happier with our new patio cover! From start to finish, the team at Clemex was professional, communicative, and delivered exactly what they promised—on time and on budget. What really set them apart was their ability to customize the design and provide engineering solutions that other companies simply couldn't offer. They also had modern finish options that gave us the contemporary look we wanted, unlike the more standard offerings we found elsewhere. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and the entire process was seamless. We highly recommend Clemex to anyone looking for a high-quality, custom patio cover!

Expert Custom Gazebo Design in Sacramento, CA
Custom gazebo design is about more than picking a shape off a list. At Clemex Patio Designs, we work with Sacramento homeowners to plan a structure that fits their yard, their home's architecture, and how they actually use their outdoor space. We cover the full design process: footprint and layout, roof style, post placement, and add-ons like built-in benches or screens. Sacramento's Central Valley climate plays a direct role in every design decision we make. Summers here bring intense heat and strong UV exposure, while winter months can deliver rain and wind. A well-designed gazebo accounts for all of it, from roof pitch and overhang depth to post anchorage and lateral stability. We serve homeowners across Sacramento, Roseville, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Rocklin, Lincoln, Elk Grove, Galt, Lodi, Woodland, Davis, Vacaville, Brentwood, Fairfield, Vallejo, Antioch, Concord, Richmond, Discovery Bay, and Placerville. If you are ready to get a design started, contact us to talk through your space.

FAQ
Custom Gazebo Design FAQ
Common questions about custom gazebo design in Sacramento, CA.
We design across a range of styles, including rectangular, hexagonal, Victorian, Asian-inspired, and modern gazebo layouts. The right style depends on your home's architecture and how you plan to use the space in your Sacramento backyard.
Yes, size and layout are set around your yard's actual footprint and how you want to use the space. Whether you need a compact design for a Folsom patio or a larger structure for a Roseville backyard, we plan the dimensions to fit.
Yes, we talk through your space, your style preferences, and how you want to use the structure before any plans are drawn. Homeowners across Sacramento and the surrounding areas are welcome to reach out to get that conversation started.
Regular care depends on the materials used in your design, but in general, Sacramento's intense summer sun and seasonal rain mean you should inspect roof surfaces, post bases, and any wood elements at least once a year. Catching small issues like surface cracking or loose anchoring hardware early keeps the structure sound and extends its life significantly.
A gazebo is a fully roofed, freestanding structure that gives complete overhead protection and works well as a defined outdoor room. A pergola has an open or slatted roof that lets in light and air but offers only partial shade. A patio cover attaches directly to your home and extends your covered living space outward. For Sacramento homeowners who want a stand-alone structure that handles both summer heat and winter rain, a custom gazebo is typically the most weather-capable of the three.
Built-in benches, privacy screens, decorative trim, and specific roof styles are all features we can work into the design from the start. Planning these details during the design phase produces a cleaner result than adding them after the structure is built.
